The goal of our Community of Artists Program is to help provide Christian artists with resources to connect within the artists community as well as give them a venue in which to advertise and sell their work online. By leverage the resources that Take It To The Streets has in place we can provide artists with the technology to sell their paintings, music, or other forms of art. As an organization we do not charge for this service, it is provided completly free of charge. Each month the artists will recieve a monthly statement showing their sales for the month along with a check from TI2TS.

To inspire and educate the next generation of leaders in our community. To raise up young leaders and disciples to lead their community into a brighter future.
Why We Are Doing This:
The Hope of tomorrow rest in the youth of today. By raising up urban leaders we hope to inspire the community to greater heights. For these leaders, the city is not a cross-cultural context, it is their life – the very air they breathe. Programs have their place and can accomplish many things, but programs by themselves don’t change people. Relationships change people – their relationship with God, with a mentor, and with others in their community. Mentoring and coaching relationships can be a lifeline for a young person and effective groups take a more whole-life approach.
How We Hope To Accomplish This:
Through the multiple programs we offer, the children are forming relationships with our volunteers. Now we hope to strengthen those relationships with one-on-one mentoring time for those we hope to raise up to leaders. We are investing quality time in these individuals to prepare them to be the next generation of leaders in their community and to lead by example. We are having them identify the greatest needs of their peers and work to identify solutions through the lens of “their life”. It is a long-term approach that runs counter cultural to our society of instant gratification. But we must remember that God is never in the same hurry we are. Our goal is to effect generational change. God works in and through the generations. This generational perspective allows us to walk with urban youth through the passages of life, to see the bigger picture of what God is doing, not only within them, but in their entire families and networks, for now and for the generations to come.
